The World Hero Race

NOTE: This section will be updated regularly as the series progresses.  I'll try not to reveal too much of the characters, because you will have to figure them out when you read the series. I'll also be updating some of the images....there's some that I'm not satisfied with anymore. *shrugs*

Likes: Amy is obsessed with fantasy and magic, especially dragons. She also enjoys reading manga or anime, and playing videogames, along with ATV riding. She also loves to daydream, since she's a natural daydreamer.

Dislikes: She hates horror because she’s easily frightened, and doesn't like romance so much. She also hates math and science, unless it's technology and astronomy because she likes to learn about different worlds and universes.

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: She's actually based off of me, because of my childhood dream of wanting to save the world when I was younger, so I had to put myself in the series.  Her entire personality, from the energetic and air-headed moods to the fantasy-obsession, is completely based off of me. The only difference is that she has magic and she's apart of a big organization. *laughs*

Name: Ludevec Durevic
Age: 13
Gender: Male
Race: Human

Random Statistics:
Height: 5'4"
Weight: 115 lbs.

Likes:There is rarely anything that Ludey likes. The only things that he does enjoy the most is meditation for relaxation or mental planning, inventing, technology, and scheming. He also seems to take a liking for spiders.

Dislikes: He doesn't like his plans going wrong, or if Amy ends up beating him in battles, and he's not good in physical combat. He loathes idiotic or annoying people, like Amy or even Beebot.  He's also slightly allergic to pollen and/or dust; they make him have sneezing fits.

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: Possibly my #1 favorite character, and my first male character that I created.  A majority of my characters are based on people that I've known in my life, most of them from my large group of friends.  But Ludey is the first dynamic, ORIGINAL character I created from scratch.  Not to mention, he's just so cool when he's evil....and for some strange reason, he always grows hotter every time I draw him!!! XD *squeals and glomps character....and is slaughtered*

Kelly:

Amy’s first best friend and co-leader in their local Race’s Club, who’s more on the harsh, but protective side.  She literally travels with Amy anywhere (well…almost) and is usually the one who tries to help her out of dangerous situations.  She’s really easygoing, but is a little harsh on the Race’s rules (even Amy will sometimes break one or two of them sometimes).

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: She's based off of one of my closest best friends from my childhood, who I managed to establish contact with this past winter after a few years of not hearing or seeing her.  She's a bit different than her character; I had to create most of her personality.  And......I STILL LOVES JOO, KELLY!!! XD *glomps friend*

Maggie:

This is another girl that shouldn’t be messed with; she’s not easily angered, although if you call her a boy, you might experience something called “instant death.” Maggie is actually not fully human, but a hybrid; a cross between a human and an elf.  She’s the hero of her own world, Houkena, and an ally to the Race. She can control the elements around her using alchemy or magic (which is why she’s called the Dragon Element Alchemist).  She’s really friendly, but is a huge smart-mouth and makes sarcastic remarks at anyone, most of the time towards Amy.

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: Another character that's based off of another of my closest friends.  My friend actually designed her character; I just made her personality off of her.  Seriously, a majority of the time she is a wise-ass, anytime she replies to me, it's often sarcasm.  And still, to this day, we are best friends.  It's been 11 years that I've known her, and despite the sarcasm we give each other, it's practically a miracle that we've put up with each other for that long. XD 

Minibot:

This little robot is Ludevec’s main minion, but not as strong or as big as the other robots, even though he looks exactly like them (the other robots are supposed to even listen to him). He has an unusual squeaky, shrill voice and has the habit of calling Ludevec “master” (and so do the other robots).  He’s supposed to act as Ludevec’s protector or guardian, and  tries to restrain him every time he loses his temper, but acts childlike and cute most of the time.  Ever since Ludevec was five, Minibot has been taking care of him, and has been his assistant since.

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: The most innocent and cutest character EVER!! XD I LOVE him!! He's so adorable!! Despite looking like a three-foot spider, it's hard to resist his cuteness!!! <3333 I had to use spiders as Ludey's minions because everyone hates spiders, so I figured that it would work well for the antagonist. *shrug*

From the more modern-medieval world of Magistria, in a society that deals with the only element of magic, Lyle is a mage, who is still in training, but is very skilled at magic for his young age.  He has been training as a mage since he was five, and is one of the very few gifted magi that can learn spells quickly, which is why he’s very skilled at magic for his level. He is only a year older than Amy and takes the appearance of a loner.  He likes to be around others, but rarely speaks up and prefers to stay quiet because of his shy nature.  He’s very kindhearted and carefree, and is very rarely angered.  He doesn’t like it when others are hurt or in danger.  He has two companions that are often with him; a black owl--named Noctol--and a small fairy, named Crystael, because magi are meant to be the bridge between Magistria's Natural Realm and the Magical Realm.  Because of this nature, he enjoys being in the natural environment and the silence of nature.  He seems to be harboring a secret crush on Amy that no one even knows yet.

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: I freakin' LOVE him!! 8DDD He's so quiet and shy, making him even more hotter!! I want to find someone in life that has the same personality as him; carefree, kindhearted, shy and quiet. <333 *glomps Lyle* My Lyle!! MIIIIIIIINE!!! DDD8<  NO TAKEY MAH LYLE!!! All the fangirls may have Ludey!! But no one shall have my Lyle!!! D<

(Still working on picture) Brendan:

Brendan is a Technician, which is a member of a man-made militia.  He’s from the futuristic world of Futurual, in a society that deals with highly advanced technology as the world's main element.  He has a high IQ, but it is much lower than Ludevec’s.  He is very easygoing, but easily depressed at times.  He often prefers to hang out with Lyle, probably because of an interest in magic, since his world doesn't use it.  (Note: this character is a work-in-progress).

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: I'm still working on this character, but I like the way he is so far.  There's just a few kinks I need to work out in him.  To find out more about the four different worlds, you will have to go to the Forums: Worlds for more info.

(still working on picture)Rowan:

Rowan is a dragon-like demon/imp, who stands at 1.5 feet.   With ears that stand up like rabbit ears, he's covered in a charcoal-grey colored fur with red streaks going across his body, and tiny horns on the top of his head.  He has tiny black bat-like wings for flying.  Because of his dark appearance, many people take him as an evil demon, but hates being called this; not many people realize that not all demons are evil.  He’s sometimes protective of Amy, but hangs out with Drake, Amy’s pet dragon, when he’s at home. (Note: also a work in progress).

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: I was trying to use as many fantasy creatures as possible, and demons are often a prominent creature in the fantasy genre, along side fairies and elves.

Drake is Amy’s red-orange dragon, whom she often loves to fly with.  He loves flying and he’s carefree, but is confused easily.  Amy had gotten his egg in Magistria as a gift from Drake's mother.  He hangs out with Rowan most of the time. (Note: also a work in progress).

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: I'm a dragaholic, so I just had to put a dragon in somewhere. I actually based Drake off of Charizard.  And yes, I still love playing Pokemon. XD I LOVES dragons!! X333

(still working on picture) Kate:

Kate is Amy's school rival, who's a bit of a tragic character.  Since her parents pamper her to no end, she loves attention, but she doesn't get a lot of it from her parents, which causes her to turn bratty.  She finds Amy and the Race somewhat annoying, and now that there's someone else that wants to bring down the Race, she's willing enough to join him....or is she?

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: Kate is actually based off of someone I used to know, who was seriously spoiled and bratty.....and the worst thing: she was three years younger than me.  The two of us never got along with each other at all.  If she didn't get her way, she would get angry or threaten you.  Thank god I haven't seen her in so long.....

Bree is the Club's Head Captain and weapons specialist, who, like Amy, loves the hobbies that Amy is into, except for fantasy.  She's considered to be a bit diabetic. (Note: this character is also a work-in-progress.)

AUTHOR'S COMMENT: Bree is again, based off of one of my high school friends, who really is diabetic.....and eats twice as normal.  We often call her a walking food/garbage disposal. XD
